crack was introduced in the 1980’s as a safer alternative to freebasing coke. the coke that you snort is cut with all sorts of things like baking soda, speed, aspirin, sugar, so people started freebasing it to extract the pure coke out of the powdered kind to get a quicker high. I am not sure on how exactly crack was invented, or who invented it, but you use alot less chemicals, (even though both have discusting chemicals in it) when you cook crack instead of freebasing and cooking crack is quicker than freebasing, either way i would stay away from the crack, it is bad news and it will ruin your life
