The Police Department in Portland, Oregon, recently posted online photographs of persons addicted to Meth. The facial changes caused by Meth were so revealing that family members of some of the users failed to recognize their kin. Meth ruins your teeth in fast order, but mostly, Meth dries-up the small capillaries that carry oxygen and blood to the facial skin. Another noticeable affect is that Meth abuse can burn-a-hole in your sinuses and separate cartlidge in your nose that separates the nostrils. More pictures of Meth users show how the facial muscles droop the eyelids, lips and jaw frame. It was noted by the Police Department that the drooping appears similar to patients who receive radiation treatments of the face to fight cancer. What was really strange was several families could not immediately recognize members of their families. Avoid Meth at all costs! Scientists at the Scripps Research Institute in California have shown that an injectable solution that can reverse the affects of cocaine addictions. It may be several years before a vaccine is available to every one.

Meth is one of the drugs that causes the most physical deterioration in less time. (Note that I’m not talking about medical grade meth, which is abused too.)
Meth is “cooked” secretly in basements, garages or practically anywhere where there’s an empty space and neighbors are far enough for them not to notice the smells and strange behavior of the “meth cooks,” who move containers or buckets in and out of the lab.
Meth is manufactured with a number of different processes using many common but very dangerous substances, including battery acid. Meth labs are a ticking bomb as they are usually filled with many flammable gases and also they are an extreme health hazard to anyone near. Officers raiding meth labs often experience poisoning and health deterioration due to exposure of the chemicals in these labs.
Meth itself is not pure and carries impurities from the chemicals that were used in the process, plus it might have added adulterants.
Meth labs are an extreme environmental hazard as the cooks are not also environmentalists; they dispose of the waste chemicals wherever they are not being watched and this causes the land and water to be poisoned. Meth labs most often get shut down and not inhabited anymore due to this health hazard.
