Can someone tell me what ‘base’ is and what the side effects are both short term and long term?
Is it speed? I really need to know

Base is short for ‘Freebase cocaine’ Crack is one type of freebase cocaine. The term used to be popular before the huge crack epidemic, but these days it is less common. They cook it up in a way that the cocaine itself changes into a different molecule that works well for smoking which is a major rush. I have seen dummies inject base cocaine but they are morons, that can kill you. Then again, people who abuse base cocaine every day probably don’t place much value on their life anyway. There is a combo that sounds like it would be a reasonable thing to try at least once and that is ‘space base’ which a mixture of freebase cocaine and PCP. Side effects are stuff that to an untrained eye would seem to be schizophrenia such as paranoid and persecutory delusions, hallucinations, weight loss, itching all over, heart damage–sometimes to a point where it is fatal and other things that are common with cocaine abuse.
