What Does My Friend Mean by “I Know Where This Is Coming From”?
Question by Erin: What does my friend mean by “I know where this is coming from”?
I am doing cocaine and heroin. I got very angry last night because I had no more heroin and had to wait to get more. I flipped out on my friend and she sent this in a text. What does she mean “I knew where it was coming from?”
I know that it is the disease that makes you lash out… And while it is an explanation it is not an excuse. It is not fair for you to lash out at me the way you did, but I knew where it was coming from. That being said, I also do not need to subject myself to that type of behavior.
