Crack is cocaine in freebase form. Regular cocaine is in hydrochloride form, which makes it useful for snorting, but not smoking. Freebasing is a chemical process which renders the cocaine smokable. Crack produces a very intense high that lasts for about 15 minutes. It increases heart rate, constricts your blood vessels, and generally is pretty bad for your heart. The highis very powerful, and as such, is very addicting. Crack is no more addictive than cocaine, it is the amounts used that make it more addictive. After you come down from your high, you will feeldepressed and a very strong desire to do more crack. It can cause aggressive behavior and paranoia. Crack can make you do crazy things because you need the drug to feel normal and to escape withdrawal. It is over all a bad drug to use.
