Question by Lackadaisical: Should society be looking at using a 12 step model for treating children with obesity?
There is scientific research which shows that the brains of people who suffer from food addiction have the same chemical reaction from eating certain foods (sugar), just like those who are addicted to cocaine. So far the only successful way of treating addiction is by using the 12 step programs.

I’m pretty sure people addicted to things will have the same brain function.
Second, a lot of this obesity crap is getting out of hand. Dumb little scientists are trying to diet babies because they are getting too “fat”.
I’ll agree, being in shape helps a lot of health risks, but being a bit over weight doesn’t mean you will have all the health risks that they say you will.
Oh boy I’m a bit over weight, now I have heart disease and all this other crap…wait…no I don’t. What a shocker.
You want to be “healthy” in a certain way, good for you, don’t push it on others.
