How Do Cocaine Side Effects Happen?
Question by King6924: how do cocaine side effects happen?
Why does it give u a sore throat?
How does it give u a hoarse throat?
How does it mess up (deteriorate) your teeth?
Why does it cause itchiness?
Why does it cause bronchospasm (or spasms)?
Im talking about COCAINE, NOT CRACK. When sniffed, not smoked. I’m aware these side effects are avoidable if cocaine use is avoided, I am simply curious.
(People with experience are more than welcome to answer, a story or two would be great)

The lining of your nose and throat is a mucus membrane. Cocaine can dissolve the membrane which makes it sore due to the nerve ending being exposed, like scraping your skin. The make up of coke is what dissolves the teeth, The itchiness is also due to the irritation of the membrane.
I have seen a man who had done so much coke that the lining of his nose was sol shot he could put in a hanky in one side and pull it out the other.

Wildbill is right. Although near none of those will happen unless you abuse it. With only occasional use, near none of those will happen. SWIM(someone who isn’t me) has done cocaine once every couple months for years and has never have any of those problems. It numbs your throat and side of the nose you inhale it on, when the numb feeling goes away, it just feels normal to SWIM. I’m sure it would happen with heavier use though.
