Please, no biased answers. I just want the facts.

I was thinking about conversion therapy to change my sexual orientation from being a lesbian to being heterosexual. But I’m not sure whether it works. I did my research and well, I got a lot of biased information. Some say that it works, and some say it doesn’t.

Also, would I be too young for it? I’m currently 16, so would I have to wait until I was 18? And is it expensive or at roughly the same rate as normal therapy?

No, it doesn’t work. There is no reason for it. Accept yourself and spare yourself the mental, emotional and sometimes physical torture of ‘so-called conversion therapy’.

The only way it would work if is homosexuality was a choice. Its not. Conversion therapy is justa way of telling you not to be who you are and be who everyone wants you to be. It doesn’t work. The people who go thru it and say they are “cured”, they aren’t. They are repressing themselves to make everyone around them happy. Repression does just as much damage as depression. Trust me.
